Who Am I?

I am Monday nights filled with

candlelit journal entries and sipping hot tea while

watching rain bounce off the roof and open windows

in Autumn and messy hand written letters and white

tees and cuffed jeans and PB&J with the crust cut

off and folded origami cranes and watching the 

sunrise while everyone else is tucked away in 

their beds and midnight car rides and candid smiles

and lists written in blue ink and wildflowers and 

mountains and birds singing and books and movies that 

make you cry and nicknames and hoodies in the winter

and soft music and loud music and moments recorded

only by memory and pumpkin pie and forever stamps

I am all the little things

and if you don't make an effort to understand why I

love the things I love

you will never understand

me.

Hello there,

My writers pen name is Mia Parker. Not sure why, I just liked the way it sounded. 

I hope to see a lot of reflection of myself in this blog. I also hope, you get a good understanding of me. My mind is like a paradox, and I hope you will be able to see why. I want this blog to represent my never ending paradox. I want it to be me. Even if I don't exactly know who I am yet.

Writing, to me, is something I have always been enthused about. 

  I am constantly writing.

I always have a notebook with me. Even if it's just a little pocket size. I have one. Reason why? It's always at the most unexpected times, that I get a flash of brilliance. Or at least, that's what I like to call it.


Maybe a day will come, 

when I won't feel so alone anymore.
